第三十六讲——北京师范大学苏喜锋副教授学术报告
题目：Frenkel-Kontorova type models in 1D periodic and aperiodic media

摘要：We will first introduce some basic settings for Frenkel-Kontorova type models in solid state physics and survey about the related both classical and quantum models. We then focus on deposition of one dimensional chains of interacting particles subjected to one dimensional almost-periodic media. We establish both perturbation theories to obtain equilibrium configurations: the KAM theory for close to integrable systems and the theory of anti-integrable limits for fully chaotic systems far away from the integrable. We show that these equilibria could be quite different in the sense that the KAM equilibria do not have phonon gap but the inti-integrable limits do have.
报告人简介：
苏喜锋，北京师范大学数学科学学院副教授、博士生导师。2011年获南京大学理学博士学位（期间在德克萨斯大学奥斯汀分校联合培养两年）。2011年至2013年在中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院数学所（交叉中心）从事博士后研究。2013年8月起任职于北京师范大学数学科学学院。2014年2月至8月、2016年9月至2017年2月期间，通过博士后项目访问法国波尔多大学。曾主持并完成国家自然科学基金青年基金、中国博士后科学基金、教师发展基金等项目，现主持国家自然科学基金面上项目。主要研究方向为动力系统、数学物理及其在生物、经济、材料等交叉领域的应用，已在包括《Comm. Math. Phys.》《SIAM J. Math. Anal.》《Math. Res. Lett.》《Nonlinearity》《Math. Z.》《DCDS》等国际期刊发表论文20余篇。
