摘要:In this talk, we will adapt the method of renormalization in quantum field theory to deal with the divergency of weak quasisymmetric functions. The algebra of renormalized quasisymmetric functions thus obtained turns out to be isomorphic to the quasi-shuffle algebra of weak compositions. This isomorphism gives the free commutative Rota-Baxter algebra a power series realization, in support of a suggestion of Rota that Rota-Baxter algebra should provide a broad context for generalizations of symmetric functions.

报告人简介:喻厚义,西南大学数学与统计学院副教授,2012年博士毕业于上海交通大学,2014年至2015年在美国纽约大学交流访问。近年来,主要从事交换代数与代数组合的研究,在Adv. Math.等期刊发表论文10余篇,主持国家自然科学基金3项、重庆市自然科学基金2项。
