摘要：Many matroid invariants are valuative, such as Hilbert-Poincaré series of Chow rings, Ehrhart polynomials of the base polytopes, Tutte polynomials and Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials. In this talk, we will review some interesting unimodality problems of matroid valuations and present some of our recent work.

报告人简介：

解红叶，天津理工大学，讲师，2018年博士毕业于南开大学组合数学中心。研究方向组合数学，主要关注组合学中的单峰型问题和对称函数。近几年主要研究与拟阵Kazhdan-Lusztig多项式相关的一些问题。目前在Journal of Combinatorial Theory, Series A、Journal of Combinatorial Theory, Series B、Advances in Applied Mathematics、SIAM Journal on Discrete Mathematics、Proceedings of the American Mathematical Society等期刊上发表学术论文十余篇，先后主持国家科学基金青年项目和面上项目各一项。
