Recently, SoftTech officially released the "2024 SoftTech China University Major Ranking", which includes 810 majors, covering 93 major categories and 12 major categories.75 majors from Guangzhou University were listed, accounting for 98.7% of the total. There are 31 majors in A, 38 majors in B+, and 6 majors in B.

Our college's majors are all on the list, ranking 14th in Geographic Science, 11th in Human Geography and Urban Rural Planning, and 19th in Geographic Information Science, all at level A. Remote Sensing Science and Technology (founded two years ago) ranks 31st and has entered level B. Among them, the major of Human Geography and Urban Rural Planning ranks first in the ranking of Chinese university majors at Guangzhou University.
